SHENLING Test Center Awarded CNAS Laboratory Accreditation Certificate

Days ago, Shenling Test Center successfully passed the site evaluation of China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS)’s accreditation expert group, and obtained the CNAS laboratory accreditation certificate. This marks Shenling Test Center has become a national laboratory, international mutual recognition laboratory. The recognition marks are as follows:

Shenling Test Center is equipped with a 20HP comprehensive performance laboratory, a 120HP comprehensive performance laboratory, a 1,200kW large air volume ultra-low temperature comprehensive performance laboratory, a 1,800kW water-cooled chiller performance test device, and a 4-ton simulated vehicle transportation test bench, a total of more than 10 sets of large-scale testing equipment, mainly responsible for the performance and reliability testing of air conditioning units and refrigeration equipment.

Shenling Test Center boasts instruments from famous high-end brands both at home and abroad, which can realize the computer automation of data acquisition and processing, and a group of professional testing personnel with high caliber and strong testing ability.

What is CNCA?

China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS) is a national accreditation body authorized by the Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People’s Republic of China (CNCA) in accordance with the Regulations of the People’s Republic of China on Certification and Accreditation, which is responsible for the accreditation of certification bodies, laboratories, inspection bodies and other relevant institutions.

Value of CNAS Certification

A laboratory that has obtained a CNAS certificate may affix the seal of CNAS and ILAC to the test report issued within its approved testing capacity. The test report can be widely trusted by Chinese government departments and all walks of life, and can also be mutually recognized by more than 100 countries and regions such as the United States, Japan, France, Germany, so as to realize “one test and global recognition” of products.

In addition to being recognized by CNAS laboratory, Shenling Test Center is also the National Quality Supervision and Inspection Center for Compressor and Refrigeration Equipment Products, the accredited laboratory of the Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI), the advanced model enterprise laboratory in the refrigeration industry, and AHRI authentication test laboratory authorized by AHRI.

The National Quality Supervision and Inspection Center for Compressor and Refrigeration Equipment Products is a testing institution authorized by the State Bureau of Quality Technical Supervision, China National Accreditation Committee for Laboratories, the State Import and Export Commodity Inspection and Quarantine Bureau and the State Ship Inspection Bureau to specialize in the quality supervision and inspection of compressors and refrigeration and air conditioning equipment. Meanwhile, it is a state-level testing institution authorized by the State Scientific and Technological Commission and the State Bureau of Quality Technical Supervision for testing and authenticating scientific and technological achievements. At present, it is the national quality inspection center of compressors and refrigeration and air conditioning equipment with the most perfect and complete detection means in China.

AHRI certification is a product quality certification system for the HVAC industry established by AHRI. As a non-profit third-party organization, AHRI has a high influence in the world and is one of the most authoritative certification bodies in the world.
