New Breakthroughs of SHENLING: Dedicate to the R&D of Sludge Drying Equipment and VOCs Treatment

During the 5th IE Expo China in Guangzhou held the other day, Guangdong Shenling Environmental Systems Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Shenling”) took advantage of its excellent refrigeration and heating technologies to enable the sludge drying machine to significantly change the physical and chemical & biological shapes of sludge as well as to reduce the pollution and harmfulness of sludge. It is noteworthy that stench and sewage were not produced in the process of closed dehumidification and drying, creating advantages for the subsequent combustion and utilization of land and building materials.

At present, manufacturing of environment-friendly equipment like the sludge drying machine and VOCs gas condensate recovery device has been the strategic direction for the industrial development of Shenling. Drive the upgrading of sludge drying equipment via innovation

Speaking to the “upgrading of the sludge drying machine”, Mr. Zhang said, to further improve the thermal pump dehumidification system, Shenling selected heat exchangers with original technology, mastered thorough corrosion resistance technology & measures and means and applied them to sludge drying equipment. Besides, the laboratory jointly established by Shenling and Siemens designed, researched and developed a controller with its own intellectual property, which improved the stability, rapidity and accuracy of the system.

As far as the economic benefit is concerned, the system dehumidification energy efficiency ratio (SMER) of the sludge drying machine is more than 4.2kg.H2O/ kw·h. Its energy-saving performance is superior to similar drying technologies. Supposing that the traffic expense is RMB 80/ton, the disposal fee is RMB 300/ton and the electricity cost is RMB 0.8/ kw·h, the total investment of sludge reduction technology combining energy adaptability and convenient maintenance is nearly RMB 250/ton (calculated as per 80% moisture content). This sludge reduction technology is especially applicable to deep dehydration after mechanical dehydration, and will consume more flocculation reagents.

Shenling believes that with the wide application of new measures like innocent treatment and cyclic utilization in the field of sludge treatment equipment, the growth of sludge is being transformed from extensive to accurate and benefit direction, and the drying link before its successful transformation has been a hotly contested spot of industrial technology. Based on this, Shenling has started the layout, research and development of manufacturing of sludge drying equipment for many years.

With regard to intelligence, Shenling considers cloud computing, digitization and information as the orientation and adopts the gradual development mode. For project application, Shenling uses the method of platform iteration and promotes the gradual realization of the sludge drying machine featuring high efficiency and low energy consumption according to the maturity of projects.

Accelerate the intelligence of environment-friendly products

Except from the sludge drying machine, another core product of Shenling, VOCs gas condensate recovery device is steadily developed.

To conform to existing and ever-rising environmental impact assessment standards, Shenling creatively uses technologies such as low temperature refrigeration, adsorption, catalytic oxidation and ozone purification as well as VOCs gas condensate recovery device with combined process to realize the multi-component and integrative condensate recovery of VOCs gas before the tail gas reaches the emission standard. Especially, the special process design of the heat exchanger enables the components of volatile gas during the process to be continuously condensed until they are back to the tank for utilization and free of secondary pollution.

In particular, the device is equipped with several purification processes, which can realize zero emission steadily and nearly in long term. It also has the concentration detection instrument with the function of on-line concentration monitoring, aiming at meeting strict tail gas treatment requirement. Components of the VOCs gas condensate recovery device are EX explosion-proof components. The complete device has obtained the explosion-proof certificate issued by the Nanyang Explosion Protection Institute, a national authoritative certification body. The alarm for combustible or toxic gas is set in the machine to detect the leakage of combustible/toxic gas in time.

The hard power is as important as the soft power. The high-quality and semi-closed piston compressor is used as the refrigeration compressor, and its explosion-proof form includes explosion-proof type or increased-safety type. For this reason, the compressor can be safely operated in the environment of explosive gas. The refrigeration compressor is adopted by using pressure vessel design with the designed pressure bearing of above 10Bar, which can ensure the intactness of the evaporator in the case of gas flash explosion. The compressor has good explosion-proof performance. Moreover, for the purpose of meeting the demand of special working condition environment, the VOCs gas condensate recovery device can also provide non-standard power supply design, salt-spray resistance design and earthquake resistant design to meet the practical demand of users.
